Dwarven Robot

One of several character designs I developed under the direction of Kevin Chai, from Atomic Cartoons. For each assignment we were given a collection of words as a prompt. For this character the prompt was “Middle Ages Dwarf Robot.”

I began by sketching ten character silhouettes, then refined these silhouettes into several designs. The most successful design was then built out, and incorporated into an illustration that placed the design in context.
